Military Modelling from December 2015

English | 76 pages | True PDF | 19 MB

A Gallic flavour to this month’s front cover with Mark Bannerman’s rendition of Commander Models’ Renault Medium Char D2 Tank. Mark offers advice on the construction and painting of this simple resin kit in our lead feature. Next, Fraser Gray finishes his WW1 Mk.IV ‘Male’ Tank model and supplies some superb reference photos of a preserved full-size example. Then something a little different as James Langford super-details a German WW2 diesel locomotive undergoing maintenance in a rail yard diorama. Ian Succamore next adds a “very colourful and misrepresented character” to his figure collection, namely Marshal Emmanuel de Grouchy. To round off the issue, another of Emmanuel Nouaillier’s beautiful model building pieces, this time with the added novelty of being displayed in a tin box!
